Frequently Asked Questions
Where exactly is the restaurant located and how do I get there if the estate is closed?
Poldino Restaurant is located in Pisa, at Località Cascine Vecchie 13, within the San Rossore Park. We are easily accessible at all hours of the day: even when the main gates of the estate are closed to the public, road access to our restaurant is always guaranteed and open to all guests with reservations.
Does the restaurant have outdoor spaces and private parking?
Yes, the restaurant is nestled in the beautiful greenery of the park and offers large, well-kept outdoor tables, ideal for al fresco lunch or dinner during the warmer months. We also offer our guests a large, completely free private parking lot located just steps from the entrance.
What type of cuisine do you offer on your menu?
Our gastronomic offering focuses on typical Pisan cuisine and Tuscan traditions, reinterpreted according to the principles of sustainability. We use locally sourced ingredients from the best producers in the Pisa province, bringing to the table local specialties such as pappardelle with wild boar, venison, bordatino, mucco pisano, and traditional cheeses paired with honey from the park's beach.
Are your menus seasonal and do they change frequently?
Absolutely. We strictly adhere to the earth's natural cycle and respect seasonality, offering a streamlined menu with five dishes per course that change periodically. Due to the short supply chain and limited local agricultural production, the availability of some fresh dishes may vary from day to day to ensure the highest quality.
What wines can we find on your menu?
We have an extensive wine cellar, focusing primarily on the finest wines from the Pisa province and the Tuscan region. Sandro Antonelli personally cultivates relationships with small local winemakers, a dedication that has earned him the title of First Ambassador of the Terre di Pisa DOC worldwide. Our wine list also features excellent artisanal Pisan liqueurs for after-dinner refreshments.
